Carly Faber is a Boston Based Illustrator, Educator, and Jeweler. She received a BFA in Illustration and Art Education, with a minor in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in the Winter of 2021.

As an illustrator Carly enjoys using a wide range of materials (i.e. gouache, inks, markers, colored pencils, etc.) to make conceptual and narrative work. Often inspired to draw from mythologies and biblical stories to explore the way women and minorities are depicted and treated in these contexts. 

When not drawing Carly trades her pencils in for a saw and torch working with Silver, copper, and brass to make elegant and unique pieces of jewelry. Inspired by natural textures and semi precious gemstones her work juxtaposes the hand of man with the touch of nature.
